Flight Instructors
Each instructor at Flight Aerial & Pole has their own unique teaching approach, performance style and background. Meet our crew!
Max
Max came in to aerials around ten years ago, bringing with them a varied background in dance, yoga, fire performance, rock climbing and the firm belief that any challenge can be surmounted with determination and a good sense of humor. Because of their mixed bag of a background, they like to remind their students that you can come from any walk of life, at any age, and still succeed in aerials with flying colors, so long as you’ve got the passion and drive to do so!
Max likes to focus on building strength and confidence while working within your means as an individual performer so that you can safely and accurately achieve more and more advanced skills. They encourage everyone to work with their strengths and to remember that every body works differently, but everyone can reach their goals, so long as you believe in yourself!
Agi
Christine
Christine took her first pole class 10 years ago as a "bucket list" item and it has become a part of her life ever since! She is passionate about welcoming others into the world of Pole, and educating them on the physical, mental and emotional empowerment that pole fitness has to offer.
Christine believes that everyone has a different reason for wanting to take a pole class, and she is excited to lead students on on a "pole journey" of their own.
Ruth
Ruthie is a fitness enthusiast who discovered her love for aerial arts over 10 years ago. In search of a fun way to stay fit, she took her first aerial class and the rest is history.
She enjoys training on the Sling (hammock) and explores Corde Lisse, but her first aerial love will always be the Silks. Ruthie’s goal is to cultivate a warm, and safe environment so that students can build physical and emotional strength and learn to challenge themselves.
Lori
Lori has always had an interest in aerial dance since seeing Cirque Du Soleil performances as a little girl. She started silks in 2018, but quickly fell in love with pole, too.
Lori is an Occupational Therapist; with her expertise in body mechanics, she can assist students of all levels to move and stretch safely.
Paige
Paige took her first aerial hammock class in early 2014, and it was love at first invert! She quickly picked up lyra and pole dance as well, and soon transitioned to teaching.
Paige has a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and spent ten years working in public education before going back to school. In her day job, Paige is a Physical Therapist. Her teaching style combines her knowledge of movement science with her background in education.
She knows every*body* is different, and loves working with students to figure out safe ways to achieve their goals.
Z (Zwei)
Z discovered aerial arts and pole fitness in 2020 and has been a “frequent flyer” (pun intended) ever since!
Z is an NCAA Certified Personal Trainer and an XPERT Fitness Certified Pole and Aerial Hoop (lyra) Instructor. Their bucket list includes trying every aerial apparatus possible, but their true love will forever be pole dancing.
Z’s teaching style focuses on form, mindfulness, and safety; and emphasizes the importance of off-the-apparatus conditioning. They are passionate about helping students achieve their goals, and strive to maintain a safe environment where everyone feels included, encouraged, and empowered.
